Echo explores the relationship between thoughts, text, words, and letters with sound. Our human relationship with language and how it translates into sound. Each letter within the alphabet is assigned a unique note. The frequency of the note is connected to the approximate frequency of how many times each letter occurs in English texts. The higher the note frequency, the denser the lines and the more frequent the letter appears within the English language.
The website prototype shows the possibilities of type frequency within a small scale. At a larger scale, imagine the possibilities of inputting an entire book into the program and outputting the sound of all the texts within the book.
