re: is an app that supports the daily lives of caregivers and care recipients living with Alzheimer's and other dementias. In the memory of my grandpa, I created this project in hopes to bring not only awareness but support to those struggling with Alzheimer's.
I began this project with the memory of my grandpa, or "Ye-Ye" as I called him. Ye-Ye had Alzheimer's and passed away while I was still young. I remember the days when he would call me by my mother's name or the days when my relatives had to go searching for him as he wandered. He wandered the streets thinking he had missed a watch repair appointment, an appointment that had been made many years ago.
